And o, there are days in this life, worth death and worth life

An hour and a half drive along the endless country roads of winter Australia, edge-less fields with random herds of dairy cows and cattles, a few kangaroos and wallabies popping their heads out from bushes, flocks of parrots that are normally seen in cages roaming free.

Waking up to the chirping of birds, seeing a cow passing by and horses galloping downhill into my front yard when I open the cottage's front door. Having hot pancakes and fresh milk for breakfast in the sunlight on the verandah, while kangaroos hop out in search for food.

Feeding chickens and geese, collecting their eggs, watching sheep and lambs charging towards happy kids holding containers of pallets, chasing after one-week old calves, milking cows... Horse riding through the farm for an hour and a half, across creeks and bushes, hills and herds.

Taking a jeep up to the very top of the mountain, barging through the woods to watch the sun go down with a glass of champagne and my camera as the moon rises from the other end of the sky.

Watching ancient Disney movies that are still running on tape machines after dinner while munching on the best-tasting chips I've ever had and sipping local Shiraz. Braving the cold and merciless wind star-gazing in my pajamas, then dashing into the cottage towards the fireplace. Sleeping at 9.30pm in bunk beds with mattress warmers.
