Dear world,
Eleven days into the long-awaited December, and the holiday element is growing stronger. The tiny Christmas tree is finally up, my siblings' piano and ballet classes finally taking their breaks. Yeah it that's time of the year when everything comes to a temporary halt before it all fires off again in another 20 days.
No snowy winters, no long tedious plane flights, no taking our passports out of the safe. Our family vacay this year is gonna be local, non-state-crossing even. You'll know when you know.
I made a deal with my folks, for 3 days of freedom with the clan. It started off quite rough, me whining and bugging my dad to my mom barging into my room first thing in the morning screaming at me and telling me what to do with my life, but I have to say that I'm quite glad that it happened. It somehow made my week a bit more productive. 5 chapters of maths conquered and the whole chapter on energy and respiration. Not bad at all.
December is still young, and I don't know which one I want more. A brand new year or my holiday to last forever.
